What’s Coming in Our April Presentation
This presentation is not to be missed!
Due to an unexpected event, our April 25 event features Professor Robert leading an exploration of several topics, including recent Solar eclipse effects, Jupiter in Leo, the coming retrogrades of Venus and Mars between October 2026 and April 2027, and any other astrological topics or questions anyone wants to discuss.
Please join us for good fellowship, good astrology discussions, and another great presentation. I have no doubt it’s going to be another excellent event, and we hope you will join us for this event, since “what one astrologer misses another catches.”

To address a concern, we do not provide free copies of our talks to attendees. If there’s enough interest, we’ll professionally edit the audio and make it available for a small price.

Our May 30 event features humanistic astrologer Lars Panero who will be discussing Rudhyar’s final book The Astrology of Transformation. We’ll take a look at interpreting the chart wheel as a living mandala showing us the how, when, and why of the four levels of human functioning.
Our June 27 event features our friend and always great speaker Elizabeth Hazel talking about “Judging, Judges, and Judgment.” I’ll post more details when she gives them to me.
Our July 25 event features internationally respected Vedic astrologer Richard Fidler speaking on “What Western and Vedic Astrology Can Learn From Each Other.”
Our August 22 event will be our free Summer presentation.
Our September 26 event features legendary astrologer Richard Nolle who will lead us in an exploration of“The Third Luminary – how recognizing the primal Three Luminaries changes everything.”
Our October 24 event brings the return of spiritual Astrologer Eric Meyers. I’ll let you know the topic when he gives it to me.
November 21 is TBD. There are several possible speakers. If anyone wants to suggest a topic or two to discuss, we can do that as well.
December 19 is our annual free Winter Solstice gathering. As we do each year, we’ll see what the Winter Solstice chart tells us about 2027.

A Look at Some of Our Recent Presentations
Our June 28 talk featured Professor Robert giving us a guided tour of his new book The Cycles of Life – 7 Year Cycles and Stages of Change. When we’re born, 7 year cycles kick into play on material, emotional, psychological, and spiritual levels of life. This technique helps you understand which planet creates the specific quality of every year of a 7 year cycle. After editing this will be available for purchase.
Our July 26 talk featured Doc Benton speaking on the “Summer of Change” and the Saturn/Neptune conjunction and the Uranus/Neptune/Pluto double-sextile trine in play off and on this year and next.
Our August 16 event was our yearly free Summer program, where Robert lead the group through an analysis of 5 extraordinary horary charts on “How to View and Navigate the Current Darkness,” “What is the Source of and Solution to Evil in the World?”, “What Does Christ Returning to Earth Mean?”, and “What Is the Future Destiny of Astrology?” We had quite a wide ranging discussion and a good time was had by all!
Our September 27 talk featured Chris Mitchell speaking on “A Medieval A-Z: From Astrolabes to Zijes.” He took us through the history of how chart computations were lost until the 12th century, the impossibly complex mathematics the ancients used to compute charts and the importance of the Astrolabe in advancing our knowledge of placements.
Our October 25 talk featured Eric Meyers speaking on “The Astrological Biorhythm: The Progressed Moon by Declination.” It was a fascinating look at how the declination of the Progressed Moon takes us through times of ascent and descent over a 28 year period, with “seasons” where we hit peaks and valleys every 14 years as the Progressed Moon moves through the Solstice signs.
Our November 29 talk featured yours truly, Professor Robert, speaking on “the Spiritual dimension of Astrology – Navigating the Changes in the Collective Field.” We discussed the "seasons" of the “century cycle,” the emergence of “Divine Mother energy,” and astrological markers when global transformations can be expected. We explored the major changes we’re all going through in 2025-2027, and how to use the intensity of the collective field to fulfill our purpose.
Our December 20 gathering was our yearly free Solstice Presentation. Robert took us through a thorough analysis of the Solstice chart and the themes for the next 90 days, as well as “time triggers” for when we can expect shift and changes. Doc Benton added his take, and gave us a preview of the March Equinox chart as well.
Our January 24 event covered our yearly Predictions for 2026 featuring forecasts, big, small, and absurd, from astrologers and other forecasters all over the world. This one was one of the best yet, with predictions ranging from doom and gloom to the death of leaders to Taylor Swift’s marriage being good for the global economy! A very good time was had by all!
Our February 28 presentation featured a discussion of two topics led by Professors Doc Benton and Robert. The first presentation was about which one of EIGHT possible Solar return outer planet combinations we had in 2025, and which of four possible combinations we’ll have in 2026. After that Doc gave us a wide-ranging discussion on "Saturn Conjunct Neptune – The Morning After," where we looked at events leading up to and happening at the time of the conjunction, and what we can expect in the months ahead.
Our March 21 presentation featured Ray Grasse in a multi-topic discussion of “Hard Angles, Elevated Planets, and How Past Transits Link to Current Conditions.” We discussed how hard angles can be used productively, how various planets manifest when on the angles, and how past transits teach us about future ones. Lots of examples and interaction.

This is the era of Zoom. We do all our presentations online. If you would like to attend, please make sure you’ve downloaded the latest Zoom update so you don’t get delayed trying to get into the talks. You can download the latest software on their site. They release new versions often, so upgrade in advance. Details are provided in our two AAZ alerts in the two weeks prior to the presentation.
To anticipate a question, you don’t have to have a camera or microphone to attend a ZOOM webinar. All you need is internet access and speakers. AN ASTROLOGICAL OVERVIEW
AN ASTROLOGICAL OVERVIEW OF April 2026

The month begins with the Full Moon on April 1 at 13 Aries/Libra. So this month continues the pattern of the Full Moon dominating the first half of the month, and the New Moon at 28 Aries dominating the second half of the month. Remember too that the Full Moon fulfills the previous New Moon at 29 Pisces, so the first half of the month has a strong Pisces quality, while the New Moon launches a hyper-Aries period with SIX planets in Aries, from the innermost out to Neptune!
All the planets are in forward motion the entire month! That means a lot should get done without much looking back. Jupiter is now accelerating into its third pass through 16-19 Cancer, helping us expand as we consolidate toward accepting “new blood” in our lives. We’re still learning how to navigate immediate and intimate feelings and experiences, fulfilling basic needs and finding connections with others in “our tribe.” We’ll all move forward in our Cancer affairs.
We’re now solidly launched into the new Saturn/Neptune in Aries era, ending what began in Capricorn in 1989 and initiating a powerful proactive energy in the collective spiritual field which will last through 2061. These conjunctions mark global shifts in “atmosphere,” what’s “in fashion,” and the general mindset for decades to come.

This month continues the very productive sextile from Saturn to Pluto, favoring the building of new structures which serve a larger Aquarian purpose. As Uranus joins the Fire/Air party at the end of April, we stand on the edge of 7 years of radical new ideas, inventions, and communication breakthroughs.
The first half of the month finishes the fateful biseptile between Jupiter and Saturn, completing this latest global “fork in the road of destiny” in world affairs. If you have a planet or point 3-7 Aries, 24-28 Taurus, 15-19 Cancer, 7-11 Virgo, 29 Libra-3 Scorpio, 21-25 Sagittarius, or 12-16 Aquarius, your life takes a turn this month! This reminds me of the great Yogi Berra statement, “If you get to a fork in the road, take it!”
Because of everything I just told you, we are all on our way to a new life. Abundance is promised for those who begin new projects, new life directions, new pioneer efforts, and self-reliant self-sufficiency in 2026. This is a new time, a new way, and a new day, with major acceleration between now and May to achieve liftoff when Jupiter enters Leo in July.
The Spiritual Field
We continue to be blessed by the closest Neptune sextile with Pluto in 30 years as each now occupies the signs they’ll transit for many years to come. This is an extraordinarily productive relationship, and by the end of April we’ll have Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius, echoing and mirroring the early 1940s when we had Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Libra, and Pluto in Leo! In any case, revolutionary developments are promised by Neptune and Pluto to be brought into manifestation beginning April!
The favorable Saturn/Neptune conjunction with the sextiles to Pluto echoes the same aspects they made in Summer 2025. What we practiced during that dress rehearsal is what is now happening in our new dance on the stage of life. This is Life and Spirit expressed as a new inspiration, with Saturn in Aries providing “real world structure” crystallizing a blended Fire and Air harmonic consciousness.
Uranus occupied the first two degrees of Gemini between July and October 2025, promising new discoveries and the arrival of “Santa Claus” beginning late April 2026. This entire year we’re rejuvenating as the next step of the 14 year cycle which began in April 2024 at the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction promising us all a new life.
Neptune in Aries is spreading a new type of energy which will “be in fashion” in the collective consciousness for decades to come. It went stationary retrograde on the “avatar” degree at 3 Aries. That degree promises us new “avatars,” new world leaders, and new icons of an Aries nature through this century and beyond, especially now that Saturn has conjuncted Neptune and set their new cycle into motion. This month Neptune returns to 3 Aries, so new leaders are coming!
Since Saturn went SRX at 2 Aries in mid-July 2025 we’ve learned objectivity through humor, and humor through objectivity. Saturn reinforced those lessons in March and now moves through Aries with speed and determination. We’re finally in a new spiritual field of Fire and Air after many years of immersion in Earth and Water. We’ve gone from slogging through the bog to sailing in a hot air balloon!
Pluto in Aquarius puts us on the cusp of historic change. This month it occupies its coming SRX degree of 6 Aquarius, compelling us to be “a solitary officiator over a mystery ritual.” If you feel like the pressure is increasing, be efficient and economical in tending the seeds of future growth, both emotionally and socially.
We also have several long wave Aries cycles in play. Jupiter launched a major healing and mentoring cycle when it conjuncted Chiron at 15 Aries on March 11, 2023. That long wave Chiron cycle will last until the Summer of 2036. Over the next few weeks we’ll have new Chiron cycles initiated as the planets make their conjunctions.
Not all Chiron cycles are the same length. When Chiron transits between Aquarius and Gemini, it moves relatively slowly and has conjunctions with Jupiter about every 13 years. However, it can take 19-20 years for the next conjunction after Gemini or Cancer. That means once the conjunction at 16 Gemini happens in the Summer of 2036 we won’t have another conjunction of Jupiter and Chiron until the Spring of 2056 in Aquarius, which will launch another long term “expansive healing/mentoring” cycle.
Mars
Mars continues to pick up speed since it went direct at 18 Cancer in late February 2025. This month begins with Mars in late Pisces before quickly moving through the first half of Aries. Focus on trusting your ability to do what you have to in your own unique say, continuing to say goodbye to the ghosts of the past. As Mars remains in Pisces the first week of April, remember that this position requires a lot of rest, so please take time to meditate or go off by yourself to regenerate if you start feeling cross.
This month Mars activates the house(s) where we have 24 Pisces through 17 Aries. April 1-9 puts Mars between 24 and 30 Pisces, creating an agitating effect on planets we have at 24-30 Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius. April 9-22 finds Mars between 1 and 10 Aries, creating an agitating effect on planets we have in the first decans of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. April 22-30 finds Mars between 10 and 17 Aries, creating an agitating effect on those same degrees of the signs just mentioned.
As I’ve offered before, when Mars is within a degree of forming or separating from a hard aspect with a planet, slow down and show deliberation and caution in how you use force. Hard aspects to/from Mars always require that we moderate or antidote impulsiveness and impatience.
We’re Actors On A New Stage With A New Set – The Bigger Picture
We’re still in the initial years of a new era in human evolution. The Grand Mutation of Jupiter conjunct Saturn at 1 Aquarius began a new 20 year Aquarian Era in December 2020, as well as a new 200 year era, moving global energies out of Earth and into Air. We’ve begun to grow beyond the materialism of the past 200 years and have entered two centuries of Air emphasis, with its qualities of relatedness, receptivity, versatility, movability, lightness, and cooperative ideas, visions, and ideals.
We’re still "under the beams" of the Solar Eclipses of 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, and these “cosmic recyclers” continue to remove what we no longer need in our lives. Take note of where you have 29 Aquarius, 1 Cancer, 24 and 13 Sagittarius, 20 Gemini, 10, 20 and 30 Aries, 11 Taurus, 30 Virgo, 11 and 22 Libra, and 2 Scorpio, since we’ve all had to let go of many things related to these sectors in past years.
The two most recent Solar eclipses are recycling our lives where we have 30 Virgo and 29 Aquarius. The Virgo eclipse is about all of us “escaping from a narrow destiny” over coming months and years. The eclipse at 29 Aquarius shows the next few years will prove very disruptive of the status quo everywhere. That eclipse encourages us to stop making excuses for non-action and actively pursue our heart’s desire.
We’re still seeing eclipse effects from the recent Lunar eclipse at 13 Virgo/Pisces, which is also removing life materials from those houses in our chart. Much that is taken away in coming months and years will be in these sectors of our charts so we may “graduate into a new realm of Being” while expressing the Light of Spiritual Will through a “charisma” which can “calm crowds.”
As we study how successive Eclipses have affected various areas of our charts and lives, we can get a sense of the utility of these “Cosmic Recyclers” in removing what we no longer needed in those areas, creating a void which attracted new life experiences. They invite us to look back, and then forward, to see the continuity of “letting go, taking in, letting go, taking in” across the years.
Primary Action Beats for the First Half of the Month
As mentioned, April begins under the beams of the Full Moon at 13 Libra/Aries, showing two weeks where we get glimpses of a new identity as old pressures are released, expressed through our creative imagination. This Lunation will release new initiatives in the middle degrees of our Cardinal sign sectors, so be organized while seeing your interdependence.
The first week of the month shows an ease of understanding through Mercury trine Jupiter, but also major turning points with Venus square Pluto and Sun square Jupiter. Be alert to signals about what’s preventing you from getting the results you want, or obsessive-compulsive people who divert you into cross currents.
Both of these squares bring a pressure to act; Venus/Pluto affects 4-8 degrees of the Fixed signs, while Sun/Jupiter affects 15-19 degrees of the Cardinal signs. However, what is built, stabilized, or reinforced by Mercury trine Jupiter can be released through the Sun square Jupiter.
The second week brings Mars sextile Uranus, Mars entering Aries on April 9, Mars conjunct Neptune on the 12th, Venus sextile Jupiter on the 13th, and Mercury entering Aries on the 14th. All in all, with so many favorable aspects, it’s full speed ahead during a very productive and harmonious week where we can get a lot done!
Primary Action Beats for the Second Half of the Month
The third week begins with an Old Moon which lasts through the New Moon at 28 Aries on April 17th, so get closure and prepare for new activity to launch after the New Moon. That week’s major aspects include Sun conjunct Chiron, Mars sextile Pluto, Mercury conjunct Neptune, Mercury sextile Pluto, Mars conjunct Saturn, and Mercury conjunct Mars and Saturn.
As you can see, the focus is entirely on the activation of Neptune and Saturn in Aries energies! You could get quick flashes of intuition about activities in the collective field, or insights into the trend of what’s emerging in this new era. With the Sun, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, and Neptune all generating activity in Aries, be positive in your focus while restraining your instincts, if only slightly. As the Moon makes all kinds of great aspects in the third week of the month, you should be able to get a lot done.
The last 10 days features Venus conjunct Uranus after which Venus enters Gemini on April 23, followed two days later by Sun square Pluto and Uranus entering Gemini. Venus sextile Neptune and Mercury square Jupiter occur on the 26th, and Venus trines Pluto in the run up to May 1, which has a Full Moon, Venus sextile Saturn, and Mercury conjunct Chiron. Venus in early Gemini heralds what Uranus will awaken in the coming weeks, so be alert to Venusian awakenings and productivity during these last 8 days of April.
Evolutionary Development
As we’re still in the North Node in Pisces era, we’re growing through empathy, compassion, and forgiveness, demonstrated through our sense of service. We will grow in our “nonlocal awareness” and tune into what Neptune and Saturn have taught us about Pisces while “showing what we know” wherever we have late Virgo.
The Sun in Aries is a time to see the Light of self-initiated activity as we launch a new season of Life. We are now on the front end of a new 35 year Aries era, so we will be letting go of the Pisces patterns we adopted during the Neptune in Pisces era. We’ve learned a lot about empathy and allowing things to end by blessing the passages. While we’re still growing through the North Node, we also have a total concentration of planets in the Aries sector of our charts as THE focus this month and for many months to come!
Because we’re ending the sixth year of a new 20 year and 200 year cycle, remember a new era has dawned. Have courage and take the initiative to leave the Earth and fly free as the Grand Mutation expands its promise into the Divine transfigured ideal of a more just truth and future. While the old dies, the new has arrived!
Even though the ideal is far away, we are the midwives and mid-husbands to a new way of relating to Life, Energy, Consciousness, each other, and the Earth Herself. Because our essential nature is Loving Wisdom, remember to lighten up, play a little, and be willing to explore new arenas of effective activity where you can work and play with other Light Spirits. This is the time to take heart as we navigate the dawning of the Pluto in Aquarius era.
We have now collectively transfigured into a greater vision of the one Light/Life we all are together. Continue to find your heart strength and new forms of genuine happiness appropriate for who you are now, and who you are becoming relative to just a few months ago.
We now navigate the cosmic time-space between endings and beginnings so bless and forgive much to flow down the time stream. The past is over and we all have begun our trek into a new world of new potential, new adventures, and new ways to enjoy being ourselves while doing our work of Destiny. Open to the abundance of the process of growth, since we are all on a rocket ship to the stars!
