What’s Coming in Our June Presentation
This presentation is not to be missed!
Our June 27 event features our friend and always great speaker Elizabeth Hazel talking about “A Matter of Judgment: the 9thHouse and Decision Making.”
We’ll explore 9th house significations and its process-driven qualities, how it offers a breakdown of the steps in the decision-making process, and what the astrologer should look for in a chart before and during a consultation about a big decision.
She’ll offer tips on guiding clients toward assessing situations and making the best possible decision. There will be sample cases demonstrating transits for people who made world-changing decisions.
Elizabeth Hazel is an astrologer, tarotist, speaker and author. She is a long-time president of SMARRT/Ann Arbor chapter of NCGR.
Her book Chiron and Centaur Kisses: An Argosy of Meaning was released in spring 2026. Her other published works include Little Book of Fixed Stars, Antiscia: Secrets in the Mirror, Twelve-House Tarot Spreads, Tarot Decoded, and The Whispering Tarot deck and book.

Our July 25 event features internationally respected Vedic astrologer Richard Fidler speaking on “The Synthesis of Western & Vedic Astrology.”
He describes the presentation this way: Western and Vedic astrology are twins separated at birth. They may dress a little differently, and they may speak a little differently, but the differences between them are skin deep.
This presentation aims to highlight the fact that, in essence, Western and Vedic astrology are the same system of astrology and that neither is truly complete without the other. Each approach has become the custodian of some of the secrets that belong to the ancient "mother system" that gave birth to both offshoots.
For example, modern Western astrology's approach to aspects (including related methodologies such as Midpoints, composite charts, etc.) is something Vedic astrology can learn and benefit from without betraying any of its basic principles, and on the other hand Vedic astrology uses houses in insightful ways that Western astrologers could find enlightening.
Many concepts and principles that are explicit in one system are already implicit in the other; so, by comparing notes, Western and Vedic astrology can help each other to reclaim the forgotten elements of their shared heritage.
Our August 22 event will be our free Summer presentation. So far we have several topics up for discussion, including a more extensive analysis of Jupiter in Leo and the 2027 Mars retrograde in Virgo and Leo.
Our September 26 event features legendary astrologer Richard Nolle who will lead us in an exploration of“The Third Luminary – how recognizing the primal Three Luminaries changes everything.”
Our October 24 event brings the return of spiritual Astrologer Eric Meyers. I’ll let you know the topic when he gives it to me.
November 21 features Lalia Wilson giving a talk on Four Pillars Chinese Astrology known as BaZi. There’s more to Chinese Astrology than most internet sites offer, and this approach includes the 12 animals and 5 elements, creating the cycles of 60 years, months, days, and hours, with each having their representation within “the four pillars,” where each pillar is a combination of an element and animal.
December 19 is our annual free Winter Solstice gathering. As we do each year, we’ll see what the Winter Solstice chart tells us about 2027.

A Look at Some of Our Recent Presentations
Our October 25 talk featured Eric Meyers speaking on “The Astrological Biorhythm: The Progressed Moon by Declination.” It was a fascinating look at how the declination of the Progressed Moon takes us through times of ascent and descent over a 28 year period, with “seasons” where we hit peaks and valleys every 14 years as the Progressed Moon moves through the Solstice signs.
Our November 29 talk featured yours truly, Professor Robert, speaking on “the Spiritual dimension of Astrology – Navigating the Changes in the Collective Field.” We discussed the "seasons" of the “century cycle,” the emergence of “Divine Mother energy,” and astrological markers when global transformations can be expected. We explored the major changes we’re all going through in 2025-2027, and how to use the intensity of the collective field to fulfill our purpose.
Our December 20 gathering was our yearly free Solstice Presentation. Robert took us through a thorough analysis of the Solstice chart and the themes for the next 90 days, as well as “time triggers” for when we can expect shift and changes. Doc Benton added his take, and gave us a preview of the March Equinox chart as well.
Our January 24 event covered our yearly Predictions for 2026 featuring forecasts, big, small, and absurd, from astrologers and other forecasters all over the world. This one was one of the best yet, with predictions ranging from doom and gloom to the death of leaders to Taylor Swift’s marriage being good for the global economy! A very good time was had by all!
Our February 28 presentation featured a discussion of two topics led by Professors Doc Benton and Robert. The first presentation was about which one of EIGHT possible Solar return outer planet combinations we had in 2025, and which of four possible combinations we’ll have in 2026. After that Doc gave us a wide-ranging discussion on "Saturn Conjunct Neptune – The Morning After," where we looked at events leading up to and happening at the time of the conjunction, and what we can expect in the months ahead.
Our March 21 presentation featured Ray Grasse in a multi-topic discussion of “Hard Angles, Elevated Planets, and How Past Transits Link to Current Conditions.” We discussed how hard angles can be used productively, how various planets manifest when on the angles, and how past transits teach us about future ones. Lots of examples and interaction.
Our April 25 event featured Professor Robert leading an exploration of several topics, including recent Solar eclipses and the powerful “Eclipse Yod” created by the 2023 Solar eclipse at 30 Aries, the 2025 Solar eclipse at 30 Virgo, and the 2026 Solar eclipse at 29 Aquarius. We also discussed what to expect with Jupiter in Leo, had a deep exploration of Venus retrograde and its coming Oct/Nov retrograde, and took a brief look at the coming Mars retrograde.
Our May 30 event featured humanistic astrologer Lars Panaro who discussed Rudhyar’s final book The Astrology of Transformation. We examined the chart wheel as a living mandala showing us the how, when, and why of the four levels of human functioning, those being biological, sociocultural, individual, and transpersonal.

This is the era of Zoom. We do all our presentations online. If you would like to attend, please make sure you’ve downloaded the latest Zoom update so you don’t get delayed trying to get into the talks. You can download the latest software on their site. They release new versions often, so upgrade in advance. Details are provided in our two AAZ alerts in the two weeks prior to the presentation.
To anticipate a question, you don’t have to have a camera or microphone to attend a ZOOM webinar. All you need is internet access and speakers. AN ASTROLOGICAL OVERVIEW
AN ASTROLOGICAL OVERVIEW OF June 2026

This month has a LOT of planetary action. We have five planets changing signs this month, including Jupiter’s entry into Leo, which will help our Sagittarius and Pisces planets and houses flame on! Mercury slows to go retrograde, giving us a review of our Cancer sector.
June begins under the beams of the Full Moon on May 31 at 10 Gemini/Sagittarius, also known as the “Christfest” or “World Teacher Festival.” This Full Moon each year is when the compassionate “Buddha Wisdom” of the Taurus/Scorpio Wesak Full Moon is spread throughout the world. That Full Moon will spur us forward while teaching us how to direct momentum to show our skill in directing events to a favorable outcome.
Jupiter now finishes its third pass through 25-26 Cancer during the first half of June, helping us accept a blessing and expand into a new individual spiritual realm. The second half of the month it finishes its stay in Cancer and begins its journey through Leo! This will help us mobilize, integrate, weigh and judge possibilities at the threshold of a new cycle, and then plunge into a year of expansive Fire.
Of extraordinary importance is that Saturn is septile Uranus from mid-May through September, and in this period, the last half of May and first half of June feature the “fateful” Jupiter biseptile Saturn and septile Uranus, activating three points of a “Seven Pointed Star of Destiny” wherever it falls in our charts. We’re all at some sort of “fork in the road of destiny” in those areas.
This sets up major “forks in the road of destiny” involving the social/cultural planets joined to the Spiritual Revolution! Zones most affected include 11-15 Aries, 2-6 Gemini, 24-28 Cancer, 15-19 Virgo, 6-10 Scorpio, 28 Sagittarius- 2 Capricorn, and 20-24 Aquarius. If you have a planet or Ascendant in one or more of these zones, your life is about to take some dramatic turns over the next few weeks. As with all septile aspects, I am reminded of the great Yogi Berra statement, “If you get to a fork in the road, take it!”
Because of everything that’s happening, this month is a huge transition point, with the stabilization of our new life unfolding in 2026. We began to accelerate in May, and are on the way to major new developments beginning late June into July when Jupiter makes its opposition, sextile, and trine to Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto from Leo as Mars conjuncts Uranus, sextiles Neptune, and trines Pluto.
The Spiritual Field
We now have the closest Neptune sextile with Pluto in 30 years! This is an extraordinarily productive relationship, and now that Uranus is in Gemini, Neptune in Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius, it echoes and mirrors the early 1940s when we had Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Libra, and Pluto in Leo. The revolution has begun!
We’re now solidly in the new Saturn/Neptune in Aries era, ending what began in Capricorn in 1989. This initiates a powerful proactive energy in the collective spiritual field which lasts through 2061. These conjunctions mark global shifts in “atmosphere,” what’s “in fashion,” and the general mindset for decades to come.
As this one was at 1 Aries, there will be agitation to “get things done” and little patience for excuses, bureaucracy, and stonewalling. Many will “walk out of the ocean onto dry land” for the first time in their lives, since this is a major restructuring of collective consciousness in the sign of pioneering direct action!
Uranus occupied the first two degrees of Gemini from July to October 2025, and now we’re solidly launched into this new era. This year we’re rejuvenating as the next step of the 14 year cycle which began in April 2024 at the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction promising us all a new life.
Neptune in Aries is spreading a new energy which will “be in fashion” in collective consciousness for decades to come. It went stationary retrograde on the “avatar” degree at 3 Aries, promising new world leaders and new icons of an Aries nature through this century and beyond. This month Neptune sits on its stationary retrograde degree at 5 Aries, opening new doors of imagination where we can catch glimpses of the future.
Since mid-July 2025, Saturn’s taught us objectivity through humor, and humor through objectivity. We resumed those lessons in March and this month Saturn teaches us about the dance of the inner/outer male/female as it approaches its retrograde station at 15 Aries.
Pluto in Aquarius puts us on the cusp of historic change. This month it continues to occupy 6 Aquarius, compelling us to be “a solitary officiator over a mystery ritual.” If you feel like the pressure is increasing, be efficient and economical in tending the seeds of future growth, both emotionally and socially. Stay open to your higher purpose, and don’t be surprised if you’re “expressing the unknown.”
We also have several long wave Aries cycles in play. Jupiter launched a major healing and mentoring cycle when it conjuncted Chiron at 15 Aries on March 11, 2023. That long wave Chiron cycle lasts until Summer 2036.
Not all Chiron cycles are the same length. When Chiron transits between Aquarius and Gemini, it moves relatively slowly and has conjunctions with Jupiter about every 13 years. However, it can take 19-20 years for the next conjunction after Gemini or Cancer. That means once the conjunction at 16 Gemini happens in the Summer of 2036 we won’t have another conjunction of Jupiter and Chiron until the Spring of 2056 in Aquarius, which will launch another long term “expansive healing/mentoring” cycle.
Mars
Mars continues to pick up speed since it went direct at 18 Cancer in late February 2025. This month begins with Mars in mid-Taurus on its way to Gemini. Keep it slow and steady as you take advantage of the Mars quintile Jupiter in the first 10 days of June followed by Mars sextile Jupiter through the end of the month.
This month Mars activates the house(s) where we have 11 Taurus through 2 Gemini. June 1-14 puts Mars between 11 and 20 Taurus, creating an agitating effect on planets we have between 11-20 Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. June 14-28 finds Mars between 21-30 Taurus, creating agitation on planets we have in the last decan of the Fixed signs. June 29-30 puts Mars at 1-2 Gemini, creating an agitating effect on planets we have in the first 2 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius.
As I’ve offered before, when Mars is within a degree of forming or separating from a hard aspect with a planet, slow down and show deliberation and caution in how you use force. Hard aspects to/from Mars always require that we moderate or antidote impulsiveness and impatience.
We’re Actors On A New Stage With A New Set – The Bigger Picture
We’re still in the initial years of a new era in human evolution. The Grand Mutation of Jupiter conjunct Saturn at 1 Aquarius began a new 20 year Aquarian Era in December 2020, as well as a new 200 year era, moving global energies out of Earth and into Air. We’ve begun to grow beyond the materialism of the past 200 years and have entered two centuries of Air emphasis, with its qualities of relatedness, receptivity, versatility, movability, lightness, and cooperative ideas, visions, and ideals.
We’re still "under the beams" of the Solar Eclipses of 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, and these “cosmic recyclers” continue to remove what we no longer need in our lives. Take note of where you have 29 Aquarius, 1 Cancer, 24 Sagittarius, 10, 20 and 30 Aries, 11 Taurus, 30 Virgo, 11 and 22 Libra, and 2 Scorpio, since we’ve all had to let go of many things related to these sectors the past few years.
The two most recent Solar eclipses are recycling our lives where we have 30 Virgo and 29 Aquarius. The Virgo eclipse is about all of us “escaping from a narrow destiny” over coming months and years. The eclipse at 29 Aquarius shows the next few years will prove very disruptive of the status quo everywhere. That eclipse encourages us to stop making excuses for non-action and actively pursue our heart’s desire. Coupled with the 30 Aries eclipse, we are now under the beams of a “Solar Eclipse Yod” with the nozzle being the 30 Virgo eclipse.
We’re still seeing eclipse effects from the recent Lunar eclipse at 13 Virgo/Pisces, which is also removing life materials from those houses in our chart. Much that is taken away in coming months will be so we can express the Light of Spiritual Will through a “charisma” which can “calm crowds.”
As we study how successive Eclipses have affected various areas of our charts and lives, we can get a sense of the utility of these “Cosmic Recyclers” in removing what we no longer needed in those areas, creating a void which attracted new life experiences. They invite us to look back, and then forward, to see the continuity of “letting go, taking in, letting go, taking in” across the years.
Primary Action Beats for the First Half of the Month
As mentioned, June begins under the beams of the Full Moon at 10 Gemini/Sagittarius, showing the World Teacher spreading the light of the ability to control momentum to express different types of growth. Basically, those who are ambitious will “win the prize.” As it is trine Saturn, we are all challenged to learn how to “live rhythmically,” avoiding extremes and finding time for rest and relaxation.
The first week of the month shows productive growth from Sun sextile Saturn even as Mercury squares Neptune and quincunxes Pluto. Be clear, be inspired, see how things came to be the way they are, and express positive Capricorn and Libra energies. The quincunx shows adjustments and sacrifices, so let the past feed the future, and learn how to “play the game with skill.”
The second week is dominated by Venus conjunct Jupiter and square Chiron, Mercury square Saturn, and Venus entering Leo. It should be an upbeat week favoring close connections, though Mercury square Saturn can a) be pessimistic, or b) enable us to express the new Saturn era in grounded perceptive ways. Again, be fair and balanced in your view, use your imagination to survey possibilities, and if it’s time for “self-transcendence,” go for it!
Primary Action Beats for the Second Half of the Month
The third week begins with the New Moon, so get ready for a month of “pruning and shaping” your expression to reveal something of your inner nature to the world. That will be a very productive week with Venus sextile Uranus, trine Neptune, and opposed Pluto, so again, pay attention as it heralds what will open when Jupiter makes the same aspects in July.
That week also marks a major change as Chiron enters Taurus! The last time it was at 1 Taurus was in June 1976, which is interesting that we celebrated the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, and this time, in keeping with Chiron’s 50+ year orbit, we’re celebrating the 250th. The week ends with the Summer Solstice, marking the longest day of the year in our hemisphere and the beginning of seeing many things accelerate in their season of growth.
The last 9 days bring Venus trine Saturn, Sun square Neptune and quincunx Pluto, Mars sextile Jupiter before entering Gemini, the Full Moon of 9 Cancer/Capricorn, Mercury going stationary retrograde, and Jupiter entering Leo! This should be an amazingly productive week, even with Mercury going stationary retrograde and prodding us to full mobilization to take care of “an unexpected storm.”
Again, during the last part of the month weigh and balance alternatives, see things from different points of view, get ready to find some life mysteries, attune to your invisible helpers, and prepare for a review of recent developments. What happens the last 10 days of June prepares us for the “fateful” developments of early July.
Evolutionary Development
As we’re still in the North Node in Pisces era, we grow through empathy and compassion, demonstrated through our sense of service. We will grow in our “nonlocal awareness” and have to stand on what we believe while “showing what we know” wherever we have 7 Virgo, putting the down time to good use.
The Sun in Gemini is the time to see the Light of “illuminated discoveries” on material, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels of life. As Gemini discovers the information we need to move the idealistic vision of Aquarius forward, take this month to get a new take on whatever calls you at the deepest and highest levels of your Being.
We are now on the front end of a new 35 year Aries era, so we will be letting go of the Pisces patterns we adopted during the Neptune in Pisces era. We’ve learned a lot about empathy and allowing things to end by blessing the passages.
Because we’re ending the sixth year of a new 20 year and 200 year cycle, remember a new era has dawned. Have courage and take the initiative to leave the Earth and fly free as the Grand Mutation expands its promise into the Divine transfigured ideal of a more just truth and future. While the old dies, the new has arrived!
Even though the ideal is far away, we are the midwives and mid-husbands to a new way of relating to Life, Energy, Consciousness, each other, and the Earth Herself. Because our essential nature is Loving Wisdom, remember to lighten up, play a little, and be willing to explore new arenas of effective activity where you can work and play with other Light Spirits. This is the time to take heart as we navigate the dawning of the Pluto in Aquarius era.
We are now collectively transfiguring into a greater vision of the one Light/Life we all are together. Continue to find your heart strength and new forms of genuine happiness appropriate for who you are now, and who you are becoming relative to just a few months ago.
We now have launched into a newer, more active long term era. Having made the transition between past and future, we’re now on a trek into a new world of new potential, new adventures, and new ways to enjoy being ourselves while doing our work of Destiny. Open to the new potential ahead of you, since we are all on a rocket ship to the stars!
