FRIDAY NIGHT - Moon Phase Magick

All astrologies have long recognized the special impact and effect the Moon has on all of us, so why not harness the Moon's magick? The Moon plays a special role in the astrological chart, acting as an intermediary and transmitting the light of the other planets to the earthly realm. In her eternal dance with the Sun, she reveals herself to us through 8 different faces, or phases. In this lecture we'll explore the different energies of the phases of the Moon and how each phase functions in the astrological chart. Not only will we explore natal Moons, but also progressed and transiting Moons as well. Beyond that we'll show how an eclipse affects and changes the Moon phase in a chart. Understanding these Lunar functions and effects is how we can keep the energy flowing in the astrological chart, which leads to the best use of Moon Phase Magick!

SATURDAY Seminar - Moon Phase Magick - Hands On Workshop

During this workshop, you will create and explore your personal chart in a new and unique way! The Moon rules and signifies the Intuition as well as Images, revealing herself to us in many different guises and in many different ways. Using intuitively collected images, quotes, or whatever speaks to you from a pool of magazines, Arlene and Kay will instruct you in how to assemble and interpret your work, which in turn will guide you to activate the promise and goals contained in your natal chart. This is the power of Moon Phase Magick!

Getting to Know Kay Cox

Kay Cox has been an astrologer for over 30 years with clients throughout the US. She has been a member of ASA since 1976 and currently serves on the ASA Board as Publicity Director. Kay also has a degree in Education and has taught students in both Elementary and High Schools. Kay is an Animal Psychologist and has been counseling people and animals for over 28 years. She is a Minister and counsels couples prior to their wedding.

Getting to Know Arlene Hougland

Arlene Hougland has been seeing visions since she was a child. She has been a student of the Universe her whole life. Arlene brings a unique perspective to her work by likening an individualÕs astrology chart to a kaleidoscope of energy that is shifting and moving throughout the journey called life. By using visions and metaphors she assists her clients in learning to work with the variety of energies that make up their potential. Arlene has a BA in Organizational Leadership and a MA in Spiritual Counseling. She has been a professional astrologer since 1994. She also performs at parties and events as a character called ÒMadame Cellulita and facilitates a colllaging process known as ÒCollage Your Heart OutÓ. The Arizona Society of Astrologers (ASA), the oldest and one of the largest statewide astrology organizations, was founded on September 7, 1973 to promote astrology through teaching, lecturing, research and practice in a professional and ethical manner. The ASA has proudly hosted well-known and inspiring teachers and lecturers from around the world at regular monthly meetings.
