Vedic astrology is phenomenal for prediction, and Joni makes it user friendly for Western astrologers who want to add this great tool to their work. Joni has been a Western astrologer for 25 years and knows how to build on the knowledge you already have. In this class you will learn how to use the basic concepts of Vedic astrology and how to use the predictive tool called the dashas in combination with transits. FRIDAY NIGHT Lecture - Vedic Philosophy and Astronomy. The philosophy and astronomy will be explained. What is the difference between Western astrology and Vedic astrology?

SATURDAY Workshop - Basic Concepts:  How to use Houses, Aspects, Yogas, Dashas and Transits, specifically for prediction. Examples to demonstrate these tools will be used.

Joni will be available for private readings while in Phoenix.  A reading covers your life purpose, gifts, and karma. You dashas for your lifetime will be covered. One to two years in the future will be covered, combining transits with dashas. The session is one hour, costs $125, and is taped.

Getting to Know Joni Patry

Joni has been a practicing Western astrologer and teacher for over 25 years. She is a second level certified Vedic astrologer and is currently on the faculty with the American College of Vedic Astrology (ACVA) and the executive secretary for the Council of Vedic Astrology (CVA).  As the founder and director of the “Galactic Center ” in Dallas, Texas, she has built an astrological community through classes and a variety of workshops. She currently teaches for the American College of Vedic Astrology online, as well as the Western astrology Online College of Astrology. She organized the first national conference of its kind, “Eastern Astrology for Western Minds,” to teach the Western astrologer Vedic astrology. She now sponsors the Certification Conferences for the Council of Vedic Astrology.

 

Joni teaches internationally and has been on national television and radio programs as an authority on both Western and Vedic astrology. Her new book has just been published: “Eastern Astrology for Western Minds a compilation of Neo-Vedic Astrology.”
