Meeting November 19, 2005 - SATURDAY ONLY - Martin Davis - "Astrolocality Astrology"

SATURDAY Workshop - "Astrolocality Astrology"

Astrolocality adds a new dimension to our usual time-oriented astrological
investigations (when something might happen). With it, we bring in a spatial
orientation, that is, where on earth a person or event might happen or from
where it might come to us. Thus we are moving to a true space-time view of
our astrological reality.

In his workshops, Martin will take us through the Astro*Carto*Graphy map
line-by-line, using examples to make all of his points. The technique of
Local Space will also be introduced, using practical examples to show its
usefulness. Then we will see how to combine both techniques, making for one
integrated, powerful system of location and direction.

From Astrolocality Astrology:
"When faced with today's issues involving new jobs, new relationships, and
family responsibilities, we require a contemporary astrology that will not
only indicate when to act [time] but also will help us determine where or in
what direction to move [location/direction]

Getting to Know Martin Davis

In the course of his work as an engineer, business consultant and sportsman, Martin Davis has traveled widely and lived in many different countries. A native of the USA, he has resided in quiet and beautiful locations of Scotland for the past 15 years.

Martin is a well-known international lecturer in the field of Astrolocality astrology, and his energy and enthusiasm for it have encouraged many others to investigate this subject. He first published his idea of "Destiny Points"
in an article entitled, Local Space Astrology, The British Astrological
Journal, Nov/Dec 1989. Since then he has lectured in places as far afield as
Athens, Dublin, Johannesburg, Moscow and Toronto.

His book, Astrolocality Astrology: A guide to what it is and how to use it,
is astrology's textbook on the techniques of Astro*Carto*Graphy, Local Space
and Geodetics, presented as one interconnected field. The book was the Spica 2000 award-winner for the best astrology book of that year.
